Random

The other night Clint fell asleep on the couch and this cat (who does not belong to us) decided to come into the house and make himself cozy next to Clint.
The other pictures are of the boys drinking Rootbeer out of a bottle at Red Lobster.

Here Kitty, Kitty, Kitty

Ok, here's the deal we do not own any cats yet we have about four or five cats that love to "hang out" at our house. If the door is open they even think it is ok to come in for a while. So not a good thing as I am allergic to them. Any how these are pictures of the boys playing with and petting one of the cats that visits quite often.

Body Bugg

Well, I have had the body bugg for 11 weeks now and my goal was to lose 12 pounds. I am pretty pleased that I have lost 15 pounds in 11 weeks. I try to walk 3-6 miles a day. 3 miles in the morning and 3 in the evening. Plus going online and putting in what I have eaten for the day really helps. I am so glad that Tyrone and the boys got me the body bugg for Christmas. I wear it all of the time and I love it. My next goal is to lose another 15 pounds in 12 weeks. If anyone wants to join me on my walks you are more than welcome to come over.

4-year-old Conversation

Lately I have been having the best conversations with Clint. Last week as we were leaving the wedding (mind you the boys had already eaten and had cake minutes before this took place). We were walking to the car and this is the conversation that I had with Clint.

Clint: "We need to go to a restaurant."
Me: "We do?"
Clint: "Yes"
Me: "We just ate."
Clint: "But going to a restaurant will be so fun"
Me: "How bout if you sleep on the way home and maybe we will stop in Wickenburg and bring something home and you can eat it tomorrow."
Clint: "That is just a bad idea."

Where do they come up with this stuff.

As a side note. Douglas is no longer going by his given name he is now going by Buzz Lightyear. as he holds his arm out and says "to infinite and beyond"

We went to my nephew's wedding this weekend. As I was listening to the ceremony I was thinking how greatful I am that I was able to be sealed to a wonderful man. Unlike civil weddings where they say "till death do you part" we get the pleasure of hearing "for time and all eternity" How blessed we are that we can be a family forever as long as we do our part here on earth. I do not know what I would do if I was not able to partake of the blessing of being married in the temple.
A funny side note. During the ceremony the preacher told this story. A woman dies and goes to heaven. St. Peter tells her that in order to get into heaven she has to spell the word love. So she spells L-O-V-E. A few years later St. Peter has to leave the pearly gates to go to a meeting and askes the lady to take care of the gates for him. Her husband dies and comes up to the gate and tells her about his life after she died. He said "you know that pretty young nurse that took care of you? Well we got married and we were skiing and I hit a tree and here I am. What do I have to do in order to get into heaven?" She responds "you have to spell Checlizovocia(sp?).

life's lessons part 2

Ok, so after I posted everything I went back to see it and realized I forgot to put the blog address on the original post so here it is

Book Shelves

My mom gave this book shelf to us. I could not get the whole thing in the picture so I had to take two picutres. It is in the shape of a train. The boys love it. We put it up high on the wall because I knew that if it was down at there level they would sit on top of it like a real train and I did not want them to break it or pull it out of the wall. It looks much better when you see it all together. The only bad part about the shelves is that not all of there books fit on it because they were not deep enough but it still look cute.
